Southern Choctaw Elementary's Trip to NAS Pensacola
Southern Choctaw Elementary students recently had the incredible opportunity to visit Naval Air Station Pensacola, the historic home of Naval Aviation and the world-famous Blue Angels.
This educational trip gave students a firsthand look at the rich history, innovation, and service that define the United States Navy’s aviation program.
A Memorable Learning Experience
For many students, visiting NAS Pensacola was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. From walking among historic aircraft to learning about the precision of naval flight operations, the day was filled with discovery, excitement, and inspiration.
Southern Choctaw Elementary is proud to provide students with opportunities that extend learning beyond the classroom and encourage them to dream big.
Serving Beyond the Spotlight
A special thank you to the members of our staff who quietly take care of the everyday things that truly are not everyday.
-The sidewalks that are clear before the first bell.
-The last-minute fixes no one sees.
-The early mornings and extra steps taken so our students walk into a safe, welcoming space.
These tasks may seem small, but they make a big difference. They reflect pride, leadership, and a deep love for our school community.
We are grateful for the people who step up without being asked and serve behind the scenes so our students can shine out front.
Shout out to Marcus Ezell, CCHS Principal, Victor Jackson, County Commissioner, and Steven Fitzgerald, County Engineer, for filling all of the sinkholes at Choctaw County High School. We appreciate everything you do for our students and school community.
